7th MDG Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic

You can now get all your contraceptive care in one place! The 7th MDG’s new Contraceptive Care Walk-in Clinic is open to ALL DoD beneficiaries, even if your Primary Care Provider is not at the 7th MDG.

All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.

The clinic is open every Tuesday, 8 - 11 a.m.; no appointment necessary. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Services Offered

  • Birth Control/Family Planning counseling
  • Same-day prescriptions for birth control pills, patches, rings, and Depo-Provera shots (as appropriate)
  • IUD counseling and procedure scheduling
  • Nexplanon implant counseling and procedure scheduling
  • Pregnancy tests for birth control (as needed)
  • Free condoms

How it Works

Patients with a PCM at the 7th MDG may check in at the Family Health Clinic front desk.

If your PCM is not at the 7th MDG, you’ll first need to register at the Medical Records window, located to the left of the Information Desk, near the main clinic entrance. All registered patients may then check in at the Family Health Clinic front desk.

If you are requesting a *new* birth control prescription or would like to schedule an IUD or Nexplanon Implant insertion (limited appointments available), a urine pregnancy test will be collected during your appointment.

**If your PCM is not located at the 7th MDG, we can’t issue any referrals or orders for care outside our facility. You may still utilize the contraception walk-in clinic by following the steps above.
